ARLP044 Propagation de KT7H

Solar activity was still low last week, but there was more geomagnetic activity. Conditions were disturbed over the past few days, and the average A index was about double this week when compared to the week previous.

Disturbed conditions are expected to fade through this contest weekend, and then become upset again around November 9 and again around November 15. Solar flux is expected to stay about the same.

Last week an error was reported here when the times listed for updates of the K indices on WWV was on the hour every three hours. Actually it is broadcast at 18 minutes after every hour on WWV and 45 minutes after on WWVH, so new K indices will appear at 0018, 0318, 0618, 0918, etc.

Sunspot Numbers for October 17 through 23 were 0, 0, 0, 0, 11, 0 and 0, with a mean of 1.6. 10.7 cm flux was 68.5, 69.6, 71, 71.3, 69.7, 69.8 and 67.8, with a mean of 69.7. Planetary A indices for the same period were 6, 21, 31, 15, 7, 28, and 35, with a mean of 20.4.
